My collection, Brushed Bark, is a two-piece collection consisting of a shirt and a pair of pants. My inspiration came from a painting by Shara Hughes that is housed at the North Carolina Museum of Art. I worked to capture her technique of building on layers with my multi-layered patterns. This collection was created with basic fabric and acrylic paints.
